The Yamanaka Clan

The Yamanaka Clan have a past that is in the dark, culminated by nothing but assumptions and rumors. They were most of the times a stand-offish, stunning clan that did things subtly. Their most famous aspect by far was their ability to create incredible lethal poisons. Ever since the dawn of their clan within Hi no Kuni, they were thought of as a deadly group that was also a force to be reckoned with. Not only were they referred to as masters of poison, but also skilled craftsmen of antidotes for such.

Their Hiden techniques are mostly unknown by those that aren't part of the clan, but people suspect that their true ability lies in mind techniques. Well it's not necessarily wrong, the strength of said techniques are far from actuality. But that very rumor of what they're capable of is what lead to them being allowed to live within Konohagakure. It was their overall rumored strength which is what authorities sought out as an ally, and not an enemy.
